E-learning for All - A series of digital tools workshops

Educational technology, video production, graphic design, and digital literacy are all important components in co-creating a meaningful environment for online learning. Many teachers want to flip or blend their classes to enhance student learning but don't know where to begin, while many students want to learn how to create multimedia or design elements for their assignments, works, or promotions.

Teachers and students want robust, and user-friendly e-learning technology for engaging online material and activities. Thus, a series of “E-learning for All” workshops present EdTech tools to improve your teaching and learning experiences.

With case studies and hands-on practice, EDuIT will provide workshops on popular toolkits such as iMovie, Shotcut, and Canva. We strive to provide innovative, free, and simple technology to support your teaching and learning. Please stay tuned for more information from us in the next semester!

Server Room Reorganisation meeting the Academy's ESG goal

During Christmas and CNY, EDuIT staff and external experts worked on this ESG-based Wi-Fi Server Project. Having a neatly organised server room can prevent office accidents. Wires everywhere along with stacked and crowded equipment can lead to a potential disaster. Not only can crowded equipment lead to overheating, locating and fixing a problem can be near impossible when the room is disorganised and overcrowded.

The Wi-Fi Server room reorganisation has taken place for the first time in APA history. It provides much more safety as new configuration is much more fire resistance. It also saves energy, perfectly meeting the Academy's ESG (environment, social, governance) goal. It provides a reliable and efficient network for all academic staff, students, administrators, and visitors at HKAPA.
