The Gruffalo
Join Mouse on a daring adventure through the deep, dark wood in Tall Stories’ magical, musical adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.
Searching for hazelnuts, Mouse meets the cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and the party mad Snake. Will the story of the terrifying Gruffalo save Mouse from ending up as dinner for these hungry woodland creatures? After all, there’s no such thing as a Gruffalo – is there?
Songs, laughs and fun for children aged 3 and up and their grown-ups, in the much-loved show that’s toured Britain and the world!

But wait, there’s more! There will also be an exciting ballet workshop where participants can learn some dynamic ballet choreography, admire original costumes up close and create their own unique souvenirs to take home. This delightful event is a perfect way for children and adults alike to experience the magic, artistry and energy of ballet in a fun and welcoming atmosphere.

Lincoln Center Chamber Music Series
The Academy brings you again the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS), featuring some of the world’s finest musicians. This year, the CMS will present across three concerts works for clarinet, horn, piano and strings, including Mozart, Brahms, Schumann, Beethoven, Martinů, Françaix, Fibich, Bruch and Dohnányi. These programmes are open to all members of the Academy and the public.
Since its establishment in 1969, the CMS has performed to more people than any other organizations of its kind. Under the leadership of cellist David Finckel and pianist Wu Han, its roster of 140 musicians enables the group to present chamber music repertoire from all historical periods.
