Digital Learning and Library (DLL) enhances the technical and educational support for teaching and learning at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. It promotes interdisciplinary collaboration in education by leveraging AI, advanced tools, multimedia, and innovative pedagogy to enable technology-driven, outcome-based teaching and learning.
    
The Digital Media Officer is responsible for maintaining the daily operation of DLL and supporting media services (Digital/Traditional) provided by DLL for the Academy.

 

Requirements:
(a) Diploma or above with extensive working experience in the social media/digital media field.
(b) Proficient in computer applications, graphic design (e.g. Canva, Photoshop, etc.), MS Office and Chinese Word Processing.
(c) Familiar with Generative AI tools (Adobe Firefly, Luma, Runways, POE, Suno, etc.).
(d) Ability to quickly create and edit engaging videos using mobile devices and AI-powered tools.
(e) Experience in creating original and engaging social media content to boost audience interaction and brand visibility.
(f) Experience in managing social media campaigns (Instagram, 小紅書) and using website content management systems will be an added advantage.
(g) Good command of spoken English and Chinese.
(h) Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
(i) Creative, proactive, detail-orientated, self-motivated and able to work independently within tight timelines.
(j) Occasional work outside normal working hours may be required to support event production, aligning with standard performing arts practices.

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
Appointment will be on a two-year renewable contract, subject to performance and mutual agreement.  A gratuity payment may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the full contract. Fringe benefits include leave, medical, and dental benefits. The starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
