Gigi Leung
Once Upon a Time
Exclusive moments in Hong Kong

There are faces whom you’d recognise from time to time.
There are movies that you can never get over with.
There are songs you would replay on lonely nights.
There are words that only you would understand.

Some things you can never find a better moment to do it than now.
A rendezvous by the Victoria Harbour this winter .

The Journey in Art

Five hundred years ago, the Great Sage Sun Wukong incited chaos in Heaven, upending the Heavenly Court. After a fierce battle with the Marshal Canopy, the Great Sage was ultimately subdued by the Buddha. This epic conflict transformed into ten blazing fireballs that fell to the Earth. Meanwhile, Zixia descended with the Moonlight Treasure Box in search of her beloved.

Today, five hundred years later, Tang Seng passes by Wuzhi Mountain, aiming to rescue the Great Sage who has been imprisoned for centuries, attracting the attention of various demons. Monsters gather around Wuzhi Mountain, and a group of ten siblings from the "Demon-Hunting Youth Team" inadvertently saves Tang Seng. The fourth sibling, Zizun Bao, encounters the fairy Zixia, while the ninth sibling, Jiuzhuazi, runs into the Marshal Canopy who is planning to kill the Great Sage, adding further complexity to the situation.

The Bull Demon King attacks the village again, but his target is not Tang Seng instead, he seeks the divine artifacts transformed into fireballs—the Fire-Eyed Golden Beholder and the Heart of the Sky Stone. The ten siblings gradually discover their true identities, revealing that they are the reincarnations of the divine warriors who participated in suppressing the Great Sage five hundred years ago.

Fate takes a cruel turn when Zhu Xiaowu tragically loses his life. This loss finally humbles the once proud Great Sage. He decides to let go of the past and accompany Tang Seng on his journey to the West, seeking the love that belongs to him in Huaguo Mountain.
