The Human Resources (HR) Office provides a full range of operations and advisory services in human resources management including talent attraction, engagement and retention, remuneration planning and administration, performance management and succession planning, staff learning and development, and staff relations and well-being.  An opportunity now exists for qualified HR professionals interested in making contributions in support of the mission, vision, and strategic directions of the Academy through a part-time engagement.  The major duties and responsibilities include but do not limit to:

 

(a) Manage talent acquisition requests and find the best talent solutions for the Academy;
(b) Provide HR business partnership services to Schools / Departments / Offices of the Academy and ensure quality and timely delivery of various HR matters throughout the employee life cycle; 
(c) Organise and deliver HR events and communications; and
(d) Participate in other HR projects, reviews and initiatives, and other duties as assigned.

 

Applicants should have: 
(a) A recognised university degree, preferably in HR Management;
(b) At least 5 years relevant working experience;
(c) Well-versed in employment-related ordinances and regulations; demonstrable experience in HR leadership;
(d) Proactive, self-motivated and meticulous with good analytical, planning and organising and problem-solving skills; and
(f) Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage).

 

This is an excellent opportunity for HR professionals that have retreated or planning to retreat from full-time roles, while at the same time, wishing to continue to contribute their HR knowledge, skills and experience for the growth and development of an organisation.

 

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
The Appointee shall work 2 to 3 days a week.  Appointment will be made on a contract of 6 months. The starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
