The Temporary Assistant Communications Manager will provide executive support to the Communications Office on its day-to-day operations and administration.  The main areas of responsibility are as follows:

(a) Coordinating the production of the Academy’s bi-monthly newsletter (both print and electronic versions).
(b) Working closely with Schools to develop publicity materials for student productions and major Academy events.
(c) Reviewing publicity materials submitted by Schools and Offices.
(d) Maintaining and updating the Academy’s internal and external communication channels, including major social media platforms, eDMs, and mass email communications, etc.
(f) Assisting the team in the planning and coordination of the Academy Open Day.
(g) Conducting daily media and news monitoring relating to the Academy and relevant industries.
(h) Supporting media relations activities, including handling media enquiries, coordinating interviews, media tours and preparing press materials.
(i) Assisting the team in providing on-site media support and coordination for Academy activities.

Applicants should: 
(a) Have a recognised university degree, preferably with a major in communications, public administration, or journalism.
(b) Normally, have at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
(c) Have experience in a PR / social media agency and corporate communication will be an advantage.
(d) Demonstrate strong communication, writing and editing skills with excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
(e) Possess good project management skills and attentive to detail.
(f) Be a proactive team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
The appointment will be for a period of up to 3 months starting from late October 2026. The starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
