China National Arts Fund 2023

 

As of this writing, 32 participants of GBACAML (“Creative Arts Management and Leadership Training in the Greater Bay Area”, financed by National Art Fund) are in the final part of their online classes. The extensive training on arts management and the sharing session on Arts X Tech (LED wall keying, projection mapping, and data visualization) provide attendees with the chance to meet new people, share ideas, and create interdisciplinary creative projects.

 

NAF participants will begin their F2F training in Hong Kong on July 3 for a one-month intensive training, before the final presentation in the Amphitheatre on August 3.

 

New Intranet Live Now

 

EDuIT is excited to announce that the new Intranet, “Microsoft SharePoint Online”, is now live! This is a major milestone, as it will enhance our communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across the Academy. 

 

Thank you for your support and efforts during this big virtual transition. We hope you enjoy using the new Intranet, which is user-friendly, searchable, and mobile/desktop interchangeable.

 

ChatGPT workshop for School of Dance

 

EDuIT is invited to conduct a tailor-made workshop for School of Dance on ChatGPT, AI and other LLM systems for the faculty, which will be conducted on July 12. This is our 3rd tailor-made workshop for schools and teaching departments, another bespoke workshop is in the pipeline for the School of Music.

 

Revolutionizing art education: Nvidia AI experts advise APA on cutting-edge technology integration

 

The Nvidia team, led by the GM of their AI Technology Centre and their scientists, visited APA and EDuIT on June 7. After hearing about our efforts to promote AI technology in an art school, the Nvidia team offered advice on future research and development, as well as present technology and products that could be useful for the APA.  

 

Mr. Allen Fung, Head of Media Design & Technology of School of TEA, attended the meeting, discussed the current course design, which has been updated to reflect advances in technology for the performing arts, and provided tours of the various laboratories.
