At this year’s "Marching Forward Through Adversity" Guitar Concert, Jacky Lau is eager to share his dream-chasing journey with everyone through music. He once said, "The ultimate goal of playing the guitar is to change the world!" Even when facing financial losses and battling cancer, he kept going—he even carried his guitar into Africa to seek guidance from a Guitar Sage living in the forest. This unwavering dedication led his story to be included in a textbook by Oxford University Press (UK), and he was nominated for the "Hong Kong Youth DreamMaker" award, eventually becoming one of only 10 winners in Hong Kong. Driven by a commitment to serving others, Jacky also won the "2024 Hong Kong Outstanding Volunteer Award" last year, earning recognition from all sectors of society.

Beyond enjoying Jacky’s beautiful guitar renditions of various pieces, everyone who attends his concerts can’t help but praise: "Listening to Jacky share his stories is even more joyful than watching a stand-up comedy show!"
