The Human Resources (HR) Office provides a full range of operations and advisory services in human resources management including talent attraction, engagement and retention, remuneration planning and administration, performance management and succession planning, staff learning and development, and staff relations and well-being. As a result of a recent restructuring of the HR Office, opportunities now exist for qualified HR professionals with the passion in shaping HR strategies in support of the mission, vision, and strategic directions of the Academy. The major duties and responsibilities of the advertised role include but do not limit to:
(a) Provide HR business partner and operations services to Schools / Departments / Offices of the Academy for full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition and retention, compensation and benefits, performance management and succession planning, learning and development, staff well-being and relations etc.;
(b) Participate in HR surveys, projects, reviews and other initiatives;
(c) Provide administrative and secretarial services to HR Office; and
(d) Perform other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have:
(a) A recognised university degree, preferably in HR Management with some relevant working experience;
(b) Proactive, self-motivated, attentive to details and able to perform multiple tasks independently and in a timely manner;
(c) Proficient in computer applications including MS Word, Excel (including basic formulas, VLOOKUP, etc.), PowerPoint and Chinese word processing;
(d) Good communication and interpersonal skills, along with good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage);
(e) Tertiary-educated candidates with at least two years of relevant experience will also be considered.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
Appointment will be on a two-year renewable contract, subject to performance and mutual agreement. A gratuity payment may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the full contract. Fringe benefits include leave, medical, and dental benefits. The starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
