The Academy is establishing a Special Project Team under the Director’s Office to support the strategic implementation of the Academy’s 2024–2033 Strategic Plan. The team will oversee the Academy’s signature projects, provide centralised project support across the institution, and drive key cross-Academy initiatives. We are now seeking a dedicated Assistant Project Manager to assist the Project Team in advancing the Academy’s long-term strategic priorities.
Reporting to the Director’s Office and the Project Manager of the Project Team, this role will primarily be responsible for coordinating and executing two key institutional initiatives: the Academy-wide Sustainability Project and strategic planning for the future innovation hub. The Assistant Project Manager will also provide support to several signature projects within the Academy, assisting the Project Manager to collaborate closely with the Schools and other departments to ensure effective planning, coordination, delivery, and reporting. Other duties include developing communication channels and promotional materials, supporting project due diligence and monitoring, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective project delivery.
Applicants should have:
(a) A bachelor’s degree from a tertiary institution;
(b) Normally at least 3 years’ experience in arts project or event management;
(c) Strong communication skills with good command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua; and
(d) Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
Appointment will be on a one-year contract with the possibility of renewal, subject to mutual agreement, up to three years. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
