The Student Affairs Office aims to enhance students’ learning experience and wellbeing through a comprehensive range of services supporting their academic, personal, social, and professional development. The Office delivers key functions including careers service, counselling service, health service, student financial assistance, student accommodation, and collaborates closely with Schools to support mentoring, guidance, orientation, and induction.

The Student Affairs Assistant will provide administrative and operational support across various Student Affairs functions, initially in career development and training programmes, health services, student surveys, and event coordination, as well as performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisors.

Applicants should have:
(a) A recognised Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification; 
(b) Normally, at least one year of relevant working experience, preferably in a higher educational institution;
(c) Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua), with strong interpersonal and communication skills;
(d) High level of computer literacy (such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese word processing);
(e) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail; 
(f) The ability to manage multiple tasks independently, perform effectively under pressure, and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility; and
(g) A customer service orientation to support students' needs.

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
Appointment will be on a two-year renewable contract, subject to performance and mutual agreement.  A gratuity payment may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the full contract.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical, and dental benefits. The starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
