Abreast the Latest Art Tech Development for Grasping Emerging Opportunities

Abreast the Latest Art Tech Development for Grasping Emerging Opportunities

Lighting, sound and visual designs were often used for creating the backdrop and atmosphere in traditional stage performances or facilitating the delivery of performance on stage. With the advancement and development of Art Tech, we are provided with more options to present and deliver performing arts such as using:

  • Virtual Reality (VR)
  • Augmented Reality (AR)
  • Mixed Reality (MR)
  • Extended Reality (XR)
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)

As the technologies mature, lighting, sound and visual elements are now coming forward from behind the scene and becoming the theme of performances and also part of the performance on stage.

The programmes offered by The School of Theatre and Entertainment Arts keep our students abreast of the latest trends in the market and technology development. Taught by our staff who are active practitioners in the industry, these programmes provide trainings of the latest knowledge and skills required by different professions and the industry. Also, the School has tailored the programme content and teaching arrangement to provide more opportunities for our students to understand and apply Art Tech so that when they graduate, they will be more competitive than others.

If your students are considering joining professional production teams, please encourage them to consider joining our programmes.
