The Academy Cello Festival presents our students creating harmony with music ranging from Rossini to their own arrangements and those of our alumni. Our distinguished students will share with you the opportunity to witness the growth and maturity of the Academy Cello Festival over the years through their ensemble performances.

Their programme will feature their international students, presenting a vibrant mix of styles and personalities.

Academy Cello Festival 2026: Gala Closing Concert - Symphonic Cellos

Academy Production Music
Our celebrated cello faculty of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts will return with the Symphonic Cellos. This programme is heralded by Dr. Letty Poon’s new arrangement of Richard Strauss’s Metamorphosen. The members will also perform music by Wagner and Ravel, arranged by Renaud Guieu and Roland Pidoux for cello ensemble. Join us for a transformative evening of passion and romance with the cellos!
